James Allen Forehand Jr. affectionately known as “Brother” was born to the late James Allen Forehand Sr. and Eurlea JacksonForehand on March 3,1952 in Quincy, FL. He was converted at an early age and joined Mt. Hosea M. B. Church.
James was educated in the Gadsden County school system and graduated from Carter Parrarmore High School in 1970. He enlisted into the United States Air Force and faithfully served his country. After being honorably discharged, James settled in the Tacoma, Washington area where he worked for the local school system. He departed this life on April 15, 2023.
Preceding him in death were his parents James and Eurlea Jackson Forehand, sisters Dorothy Murray (Gary) and Geraldine Williams (Will)
He leaves to cherish his memories, two devoted children: Jerome Forehand (Shatara) of Petersburg, Virginia and CureakaBlakey (Arthur) of Long Beach, California. Nine grandchildren: Jalanceya, Josiah, Demerrion, Dewayne, Roni, Christopher, Danielle, Christian, and Gabrielle.
Also left to mourn his passing are six siblings, MarilynKennedy, Elsie Ash, Jacqueline Holloman, Gregory (Gwen) Forehand, Theretha Forehand, and Veronica Forehand, all of Quincy. Devoted cousins, Charles Forehand (Cheryl) and Rodney Adams.
He leaves behind four aunts: Laura McMillion of Chattahoochee, Florida, Francelson Forehand of Quincy, Florida, Ella White of Climax, Georgia, and Sylvia Byrd of Tallahassee, Florida.
He also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
