Maggie Mae Williams Thomas was born March 11, 1946 in Quincy, Florida to the late Henry and LeliaWillams. She accepted Christ at an early age and joined Mt.Pilgrim Primitive Baptist Church, in Quincy, Florida. She was educated in the Gadsden County School System. She was also employed with Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare for over 20 years. She departed this life on October 14, 2019.
Maggie was joined in holy matrimony to the late John Wallace Thomas Sr. To this union was born two children. She was a faithful member of Mt. Zion Primitive Baptist Church where she was a member of the choir and the Senior Auxiliary . She really loved all her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by siblings Hozie Williams Sr., Leola Reddick, Bedell McCray, Ethel Wright and Lelia March.
She leaves to mourn her passing and cherish her memories her children: Cedrick Akins (Serena), David Akins Jr. (Ebony), John Thomas Jr. and Arlesia Thomas; Sisters: Annie Willaims, Rosa Collins, Janice Moore, Sharon Holloman (Naaaman) and Marion Brown (Kenneth); Brothers: Larry Lodman (June) and James Lodman (Lisa); Eighteen grandchildren, six great grandchildren, two god children and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends who loved her.
