Nellie Bradwell Gross was born on November 18, 1946 to the late Leola Williams and Leroy Bradwell in Gadsden County, Florida, she departed this life on February 22, 2021.
Nellie attended public school in Gadsden County. She spent her career at River Chase Care Center, she was one of the best CAN’s to walk their halls, she also worked in housekeeping until she retired. She accepted Christ at an early age and joined Mt. Pilgrim Primitive Baptist Church.
She leaves to cherish her memories: husband: Arthur Gross of Quincy, Florida son: Willie Preston (Tammy) of Woonsocket, Rhode Island; daughter-in-law: Ginger Preston of Woonsocket, Rhode Island, grandchildren: Justin L. Preston, Christian L. Preston and Trevin T. Preston all of Woonsocket, Rhode Island; sister: Dorothy Mitchell of Quincy, Florida; brother: Leroy Bradwell, Jr. (Lou-Rene) of Georgia aunts: Annie Ruth Williams of Quincy, Florida and Peggy Collins of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida and thirteen great grandchildren; friend/neighbor: James Anderson and a host of other beloved family members.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Leola Williams and Leroy Bradwell; sisters: Dorothy Jackson, Monica Bradwell and brother: Edred Black.
