Winford Chukes

Winford Chukes was born to Moses and Edna Chukes on March 23, 1946 in Havana, Florida.  Winford attended the Public School of Gadsden County.  Winford accepted Christ at an early age.  He was a hardworking man that worked many jobs and never met a stranger along the way.  He retired from Costal Lumber Company after working 26 years.

Winford leaves to cherish his wonderful memories: a son, Paul Chukes of Bainbridge, Georgia and daughter, Felecia Chukes of Bainbridge, Georgia; four brothers, William (Belinda) Chukes, James Chukes, Ephriah (Tynese) and Wayne (Shedelle), all of Havana, Florida; four sisters, Anna Chukes, Cassandra (Oscar), Terrilyn Chukes and Bonita Williams, all of Havana, Florida; 7 grandchildren; 14 Great Grandchildren; aunt, Annie Mae Johnson of Tallahassee, Florida; countless nieces, nephews and friends; and a special friend, Frances Ervin.

Winford was preceded in death by his parents, Moses and Edna Chukes.
